Their natural source of food is smaller insects that they can fit into their mouth. Most of the time, at any given opportunity, even if they had the chance to, they would not draw blood or try to bite humans at all. But at times, if they were to feel threatened or bullied, they will not hesitate to defend themselves by biting.
